Ella is a classical pianist. She earned her Master's degree in piano performance from Butler University in Indianapolis and Bachelor's degree in piano performance from University of Seoul in South Korea. Ella's musical education also includes studies with renowned piano faculty such as Dr. Annette Burkhart at Washington University in St. Louis and pianist Konstantinos Papadakis at New England Conservatory in Boston. Her repertoire encompasses diverse genres, ranging from Beethoven and Chopin to Schumann, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, and more. At Butler University, Ella's talent has been recognized through her participation as a finalist in the 2021 Concerto Competition and as the winner of the 2023 Pi Kappa Lambda Competition.

In addition to her performance achievements, Ella has extensive experiences in teaching. With over 20 years of experience, she has guided students of all ages and levels, including leading some of her students to pursue professional music careers. She previously ran her own music school for multiple years in Korea, and her successful teaching experience has been demonstrated through students who have won competitions such as the Concert Artists International Virtuoso Competition and Indiana State School Association. Ella's teaching expertise extends to general music and vocal performance.

Ella is also a passionate accompanist. She is currently the choir accompanist at Geist Christian Church in Indianapolis. She has previously served as a choir accompanist at multiple other churches, including the Korean Presbyterian Church of St. Louis, for over 10 years. During this time, she has played a wide variety of music, including Handel's "Messiah" and Mozart's Requiem Mass. Additionally, she has provided accompaniment for various instruments such as trombone, oboe, violin, and cello in diverse settings. Furthermore, Ella plays the piano for a variety of occasions, including social events and family gatherings.
